Mr. Jackass, I said VT had a far better team this year. UT has had a much tougher row to how thus far, as far as schedules go. Now they've got their best offensive player (Riggs) and their best defensive player (Allen) out for the year. Their offense has stunk all year. They couldn't score 30 points on JJK.

UT has this great talent at receiver (supposedly) but they do not have a go-to receiver. It's great to have a different receiver every game be your leading receiver but none of them are consistent, and to me, besides Randy having a 7 play playbook, is what is killing them. Great recruiting classes but none of those players are going on, or very few. So either they are getting some over-rated talent or the coaching staff isn't developing them. You're defense is pretty good, they've managed to have a few players go on in the front seven and play, even a few secondary, but offensively, not so much lately. You can't keep those huge defensive players out there 2/3 of the game because you're offense has many 3 and out series. UT, be it Randy or Phil or a combination of the 2, doesn't diversify at all to the talent or the areas of talent they have.

They have to make changes...poor John Chavis has done a great job, heck they even have a secondary that I think can make a play now and then (as opposed to the past whenever I saw a deep throw I hoped for an interference call figuring it was less damage than the sure TD).
I found myself wanting South Carolina to win tonight just figuring if UT almost totally has to tank to make changes. If they aren't bowl eligible or such, that should force things and its hard to wish bad luck on them but as one of my friends said, totally destruction is about the only way they will 'force' a rebuild.

from what i hear at least 2 assistants are gettin the axe at the end of the year, but that was before the loss today, so it very well could be more, the alumni wont stand for this mess
UT will be bowl eligible though, they got UK and Vandy on their schedule left to play, i dont know who the other 2 are but id say they can steal at least one more win
